James Merl Krebs

James Merl Krebs was born January 22, 1944 in Hanover, PA to the late Merl and Esta Walker Krebs and has been a resident of Severn for the past 42 Years. He worked in communications for NSA during his working life.  He enjoyed trap shooting, he was an avid fly fisherman, enjoyed spending time outside and traveling. Jim also treasured time spent with family, especially his granddaughter Alley Nevin. In addition to his parents Mr. Krebs is preceded by his sister Betty Darr. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Marian Solich Krebs, daughters Kristen Nevin and Linda Danforth, son-in-laws Mark Nevin and Matthew Danforth,  all of Glen Burnie, sisters Joyce Hoover of North Carolina and Beulah Kopp of Severna Park. Despite an 18-year battle with dementia, Jim remained kind hearted and always concerned about those around him until the very end. He passed away peacefully at Brightview Rolling Hills.
