James R. Russell

On May 26, 2009, James R. “Jim” Russell of Glen Burnie passed away from natural causes. Born on November, 13, 1941 in Maryland, Jim has been a resident of Glen Burnie for 36 years.  Beloved husband of 44 years to Barbara A. Russell (nee Handley); Devoted father of Sherrie D. Hora of Brooklyn Park and Pamela D. Lawson of Glen Burnie; Caring brother of Raymond Russell Jr. of Glen Burnie, Joan Russell of North Carolina and the late Robert Russell; Cherished grandfather of Dalton and Justin Lawson. Jim served his country as a member of the U.S. Army.  He then worked his entire career as a sheet metal mechanic.  Jim loved bass fishing, bowling, chess and crossword puzzles.  Most especially, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
