James Thomas Walters, Sr. was born in St. Agnes Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland on June 18, 1952 to late Anthony Warren and the late Thelma E. (Peddicord) Walters. He was a recent resident of Halethorpe for the last 5 years but previously resided in Pikesville and Glen Burnie. Jim loved bowling and was a Bowling Alley Master Mechanic for Fair Lanes for many years. When he wasn't bowling or working, he had a love for Horse Racing, McDonald's Burgers and GM Crab Cakes. And we can't forget about the Sunday Morning Breakfast he would cook, Eggs and Bacon. Jim treasured the time he spent with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by so many.
James Thomas Walters, Sr. passed away at his residence with his family by his side on January 13, 2021. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brother, George Walters and his sister, Patsy Houseman. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Donna Marie (Smith) Walters of Halethorpe; Son, James Thomas Walters, Jr. (Michelle) of Halethorpe; daughters, Tammy Marie Palmer (James) of Westminster and Tiffany Ann Walters of West Virginia; brothers, Warren Walters (Vicki) and Joe Walters (Cheryl) of Bel Air; brother-in-law of John Houseman of Arizona; grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 8.
Family and Friends may call at the KIRKLEY-RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, 3-5 pm & 7-9 pm. Funeral service on Thursday, January 21, 2021, 11 am at the funeral home. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
