Jane Mary Robidoux, 93, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2022 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born Jane Mary Bell on December 10, 1928 in Baltimore, MD to the late Charles E. and Lucy C. (Beavan) Bell. She grew up in Baltimore and graduated from Western High School in 1947. She married her recently deceased husband in 1950, 72 years together. Being a Navy wife she moved from one Naval Station to another until her husband retired from the U.S. Navy, stationed in Newport, Rhode Island in 1966 settling in Glen Burnie, MD the same year. A homemaker, an avid reader, loved going to the movies, embroidery, enjoyed watching game shows, caring for her family and her dogs and she was a member of St. Bernadette's Catholic Church. Jane is preceded by her beloved husband Normand O. Robidoux, who passed away July 2022, her parents Charles E. and Lucy C. (Beavan) Bell and her sisters Frances Atkinson and Doris Grimes. She is survived by 5 children, Raymond G Robiboux (Patricia) of Hanover, David N. Robidoux (Mary) of Glenelg, Karen D. Howard of Glen Burnie, Joy A. Henry (Michael) of Mt. Airy and Donald P. Robidoux of Brooklyn Park, 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren Family and friends may visit the Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home, 421 Crain Hwy., S.E., Glen Burnie, MD 21061 for visitation on Wed. October 19 from 3-5 & 7-9 P.M. The funeral services will be held at Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 9:30 A.M. Interment will be at the Crownsville MD Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Rd., Crownsville, MD 21032 at 10:45 A.M. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy., Pasadena, MD 21122
