family by her side, Thursday afternoon, June 13, 2024. Janet was born in Oelwein, Iowa on
Sunday, April 9, 1961, to Carl Vance and Lynell (Weston) Crane. She graduated from
DeRidder High School and married her high school sweetheart, Eddie Doyle in 1979. In

Monterrey, California to train as a Russian Linguist. Janet excelled in her intelligence role in
the military and was able to take her family to Colorado followed by her dream assignment
of Augsburg, Germany. She retired, honorably in 2006, and continued her career as a signals

strike up a conversation. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Janet was
a creative and talented baker and candy maker. She loved to share her treats with everyone
and spent hours of her time making candies to share for Christmas. Janet was also an

Janet was always happiest when she had a house full of dogs. She leaves behind 6 beloved
dogs, Harvey, Daisy, Gavin, Abigail, Alvin and Simon. Janet was a loving and gentle Mother,
who always made time for her three children, even as a full-time active-duty service member.
Janet’s favorite title was without a doubt, was Nana. As accomplished as her career was,
she was most proud of her three grand babies. She will be greatly missed by all who knew
her, but especially by her loving family.
