Janice Virginia Milcarek

Devoted and beloved wife of Paul Milcarek for over 59 years. Loving and caring mother of Denise M. Milcarek, Diane Towers and Duane Milcarek. Loved by her grandchildren Elizabeth Towers, Andrew Towers, Matthew Price, Chloe Milcarek and Evan Milcarek. Mother-in-law to James Towers, Denise L. Milcarek and James Price. Beloved daughter of the late W. Douglas and M. Dolores Phillips of Landover Hills, MD. Dearest sister of Linda White, Wayne Phillips, Catherine Phillips, Mary Goleski and John Phillips. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Janice grew up in Landover Hills, MD. She met and married Paul and he moved her to the small development of Harundale in Glen Burnie, MD. She thought he was taking her to the country to live in the woods. They raised their family at 1508 Ingalls Road where she still lived with Paul at the time of her death.

She always wanted to be a nun but she chose another path. She was raised Roman Catholic, went to catholic schools and raised her children catholic. Her faith was very strong.

She worked at the Social Security Administration for years, next she worked at the Elks Lodge as a wedding planner and last as a hotdog vendor in Harundale mall.

Janice had a great love of photography and for capturing memories from a lifetime with her family.

Janice loved spending time with her family, adored by her friends. She touched so many hearts and lives with her kind caring ways.

She will be greatly missed and her memory will be cherished forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
