Jean R. Beltz

On May 24, 2009, Jean Rollins Beltz passed away at the age of 85.  Born on November 9, 1923 in Maryland, she was a long time resident of Glen Burnie.  Jean attended Glen Burnie High School and graduated in 1941.  She then went on to attend St. Mary's College.  Jean was the first female resident manager in the country and worked for 26 years for Herbert Siegel Management.  At one time she and her husband owned Beltz Painting & Carpet on Crain Highway in Glen Burnie.  She is survived by her son Kim R. Beltz of Charlestown, West Virginia and her daughter Brooke R. Outten of Nottingham, Maryland.  She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
