On May 26, 2010, Jeanette VanMeter peacefully passed away at the age of 78. Jeanette lived in Severn since 2007, and previously lived in Cumberland. She is survived by her sister Virginia Shupe of Severn and her three sons, Steven, Russell and David. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald VanMeter. Jeanette worked as an LPN for the State of Maryland. She will be missed by those who loved her dearly.
