Jeffrey M. Ruhl, Sr., 68, of Glen Burnie, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025. Born on June 25, 1957, Jeff was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose greatest joy was his family.

He shared 49 wonderful years of marriage with his wife, Linda K. (Lowman), building a life together rooted in love and commitment. They made their home in Glen Burnie for 41 years, raising their children and creating countless memories along the way.

Jeff was a proud father to Jeffrey M. Ruhl, Jr. (Judi), Janelle (Tim), and Jamie (Steve). He adored his grandchildren—Olivia, Kaylee, and Ryan—and treasured time spent with his step-grandchildren Melanie (Logan), Bobby, Dominique, and Stephanie, as well as his nine step great-grandchildren Jayden, Carter, Nalah, Wyatt, Dawson, Elijah, Lainey, Tate, and Cole.

Jeff is survived by his brother Michael Ruhl (Phyllis). He was preceded in death by his father Carl E. “Pete” Ruhl, mother Dorothy “Dot” Ruhl, and brother Ronald Ruhl.

A hardworking man, Jeff spent his career as a heavy equipment mechanic for Reliable Contracting before retiring in the early 2000s. Outside of work, he had a passion for old cars, especially Oldsmobiles, and John Deere. He enjoyed watching old westerns, anything about cars, and anything on the cooking channel. He loved the mountains of Tennessee, and often took his family there for vacation.

Jeff will be remembered for his steady presence, his humor, and his deep devotion to family. His love, values, and memories will live on through all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family invites loved ones to honor his memory by cherishing time with family and friends, just as he always valued most.
