Born Jennifer Gorman on October 14, 1941 in Montrose, Scotland to the late Andrew Porter Gorman and Joan Taylor Gorman. At age 19 she met and fell in love with her future husband of 55 years, a U.S. Sailor, Melvin James Morenz. They were married on January 13, 1962 at the Church of Scotland in Montrose. She enjoyed traveling the world as a Navy wife while raising her 3 children. Later in life she worked as a school monitor at Severn Elementary School, where she was beloved by both students and staff. She met and socialized with members of the now defunct British Wives Club and maintained many of those friendship. She enjoyed water aerobics at the North County Aquatic Center and camping at the Navy Rec. Center in Solomons. One of her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren Lilly, Sam and Jack Damalouji. In addition to her parents Jennifer is preceded in death by her brother John Gorman, who passed away at a young age and her son Paul A. Morenz. She is survived by children John C. Morenz of Linthicum, MD and Melody Damalouji of Prince Frederick, MD. She passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family. She was a great source of joy to all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 between 10:30 am - 12:30 pm at Kirkley-Ruddick funeral home, 421 Crain Hwy, S.E. Glen Burnie MD, 21061.
Funeral service will be at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery Chapel, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road Crownsville, MD 21032 at 1:00 PM immediately followed by inurnment.
