Jo-Marilyn Masters

Jo-Marilyn Masters, 75, Glen Burnie resident, died under hospice care at her residence on Monday, August 7, 2023. Born in Chicago, Illinois, on Thursday, April 8, 1948, to Wilburn Lea and Lorine Elizabeth (Alford) Masters. She came to Maryland in the 1970's and raised her family. Jo-Marilyn was down to earth, loved her Pomeranian dogs and her family; especially her granddaughters and great grandsons. She was a good cook; known for her stuffing at Thanksgiving and her pineapple upside down cake.

Jo-Marilyn is preceded by her parents, Wilburn Lea and Lorine Elizabeth (Alford) Masters; and her siblings, Janet Masters Kelley and James Lyles Masters. She is survived by her husband, Gary Nelson Lambert; children, Dawn Marie Brock (Timothy) of Pasadena and John Isaiah Masters (Jennifer) of Pasadena; siblings, Lu-Cindy Whitson Rangel (Lou) of Amarillo, TX, Judy Ann Masters Wheeler of Houston, TX, Betty Jean Whitson Hall of Silverton, TX and Keith Borrelli Masters of  Pasadena Maryland and 2 granddaughters, Sarah Avni and Sophia Masters and two great grandsons.

Graveside service private. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park. A memorial service to be held at a later date.
