Joan Amanda DeBarr, a resident of Glen Burnie, passed away on April 16, 2016. Born in Baltimore, MD to the late George Bennett and the late Alice (nee Landon) Horseman. Joan was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family, watching TV and was an Elvis fan. She is survived by her sons, Eugene Anthony of Glen Burnie, Howard Anthony of FL, Ricky Anthony of WV, Mark Anthony of SC; daughters, Barbara Helms of PA, Nancy Green of DC; brother, Bernie Horseman of FL; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren with one on the way. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step father, Bernard Horseman; husbands, Leo B Anthony, Jr, Jimmy DeBarr and son, John Anthony. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joan DeBarr, to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the Tribute Program, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
Friends and family may gather at the Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy, SE, Glen Burnie, Maryland on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from 3-5 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral Service to be held at Fink Funeral Home on Thursday, April 21st 11:00 A.M. Interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park to follow service.
