Joan A. Griffith

Joan A. “Mommom” Griffith was born March 7, 1935 in West Virginia to the late Dwyer and Marie Parsons Buckland. A resident of Anne Arundel County since 1967 coming from Baltimore County.  She worked as a cook at Snyder’s Restaurant. She was a member of the American Legion Post in Baltimore Highlands as well as the Minnie Mouse Club consisting of the women who worked at Snyder’s.  In her spare time Joan enjoyed cooking, baking, country music, karaoke and playing the guitar.  In addition to her parents she is preceded by her late husband Oliver W. “Sonny” Griffith, a daughter Patricia “Patty” Russell and her husband Marc, brother James Buckland, sister Nancy Buckland and grandchild Joseph Reyes. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Robin Rohleder and Katherine Reyes, brother Charles and Frank Buckland, sister Diana Miller, grandchildren Lacey and Chelsea Rohleder, Ryan Reyes and Austin Russell and great-grandchildren Rowan and Kaia Russell, Adalynn and Hudson Reyes, Kameron Staten, Logan Wisniewski and Madison Cesenaro.
