Joan M. Sell

On March 6, 2013, Joan M. Sell of Glen Burnie passed away at BWMC at the age of 76. Born in Harrisburg, PA, Joan was a lifelong resident of Glen Burnie. Beloved wife of the late Robert F. Sell for 18 years; Devoted mother of Paula J. Garrett and her husband Wes of Severn and Statia Sell Connett and her husband Scott of Orlando, Florida; Caring sister of Alice Helfrich of New Mexico and sister-in-law Jean Coates of Florida; Cherished grandmother of Taylor, Wade and McKennah Connett. Joan is predeceased by her brother Howard Burns. Joan worked as an Administrative Assistant for the government until she retired. Joan was a lifelong member of the Harundale Presbyterian Church and active in the choir and also lead a bible study group. She drove for the church shelter and was a current serving elder as well as a Stephen Minister. More than anything, Joan loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
