Joan Ann Taylor

Born Joan Ann Sharp on August 17, 1947 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Albert and Margaret Sharp (nee Catterton). She was a resident of northern Anne Arundel County for many years. She worked as a school bus driver for Anne Arundel County schools. Her family describes her as a true caregiver with a great love for animals of all kinds and sizes. She enjoyed going to yard sales and was a collector of stuffed animals. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 56 years Russell Lee Taylor, children Russell Taylor of Seford, DE and his wife Kristal, Roy Taylor of Lutherville and his wife Kate, Teresa McAdams of Joppa and her husband Joe as well as sisters Peggy Slattery of Annapolis and her husband Terry and Vicky Lomax of Southern Maryland and her husband Ron.  She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and a large family of nieces and nephews.  She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family.  Memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Ass'n. or Heartland Hospice will be appreciated by the family.
