John Russell Berke

John R. Berke, 54 of Glen Burnie, MD passed on January 2nd, 2022, with his beloved wife Susan (nee Livingston) by his side. John was born and raised in Bergen County, NJ where he attended Paramus Catholic HS and Montclair State University. John was a highly regarded Special Agent of the US Department of Defense for 32 years, most recently out of Fort Meade, MD. In addition to his bride of 20 years, he is survived by his parents, Police Chief Russell (RET.) and Palma Berke of Jupiter, FL along with his sister Debra Knoph and her husband Jason of West Palm Beach, FL, his Aunt and Godmother Maryann Conte and her husband Anthony of Lincoln Park, NJ, Uncle Richard Berke of Delray Beach, FL and Susan's sister Terrie and her husband Robert Lacy of Ione, WA.  John was also a doting and proud Godfather of 3 and beloved "Uncle John" to many more of his friends’ children.

A memorial service will be planned later in the year in New Jersey due to travel and gathering concerns. We humbly ask for no flowers.
