John T. Coady Sr.

On November 10, 2009, John T. Coady Sr. of Glen Burnie.  Devoted husband of 56 years to the late Carol V. Coady; Beloved father of Chris Coady and his wife Angela of Pasadena, Brian Coady and his wife Michele of Glen Burnie, Barbara O’Leary of W. Va., Sharon Coady of Glen Burnie, Frances Miller of Glen Burnie and the late John Coady; Cherished grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 8. He is predeceased by his sister Ruth Coady. Born on October 25, 1933 in Maryland, John lived in Glen Burnie for 44 years.  He worked for 45 years as an electrician for Domino Sugar until retiring. He also worked part-time for 40 years with Associated Cab as a driver.  John served as President at one time during his 36 year membership of the Harundale Youth Sports League.  He was an avid baseball and Ravens Football fan.  He was also the East Coast Field Director for Pony Baseball and Softball.  John had also been a member of the Knights of Columbus at one time.  In addition to being an avid sports fan, John also enjoyed spending vacations at the Outer Banks.  Most especially, he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
