On May 7, 2010, John V. Hulser, PhD, passed away at the age of 83. Born in College Point, New York, he was raised in Madison, CT and lived for many years in Shrewsbury, VT. From 1997 to 2005 he lived in Ocean City, Maryland before moving to Glen Burnie (MD). John received his masters from Yale and his PhD in sociology from the University of Connecticut. He was a college professor for the New York Institute of Technology. John was a member of St. Bernadettes Catholic Church in Maryland and the Knights of Columbus in Ocean City, MD. He was the second largest Scottish Highland Cattle Breeder in the United States. John owned a Bed & Breakfast in Shrewsbury, VT, and he was an avid collector of a variety of things. He is survived by his beloved companion Faye Burns of Glen Burnie (MD); his loving daughters Beth A. Morel of Signal Mountain (TN) and Meg M. Bounty of Ashford (CT) and his four cherished granddaughters.
