John J. Maenner

November 25, 1958 — March 15, 2015

John J. Maenner, a man among men and resident of Glen Burnie, passed away on March 15, 2015. Born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Edward Maenner and Doris (White) Maenner. John was a construction supervisor for Chesapeake Mechanical Construction and was a member of the Ferndale Community Club and the White Rocks Marina. John was loved by all who knew him and had an infectious smile. He enjoyed fishing, camping, crabbing and boating. John is survived by his loving, devoted wife, Wanda Jean (Peters) Maenner of Glen Burnie; his mother Doris Maenner of Baltimore, daughter, Heather Maenner of Baltimore; brothers, Edward "Bud" Maenner of Orlando, FL, James "Jim" Maenner of Glen Burnie; sister, Patricia "Sue" Harger of Ellicott City and granddaughter, Kayleigh Maenner. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his brother, Charles "Chuck" Maenner. John is also survived by his extended family, nieces, nephews and many friends.
