John Wayne Smith

January 7, 1949 — November 30, 2017

John "Wayne" Smith was born on January 7, 1949 to Edgar Smith and Madeline Smith (nee Biddle) in Baltimore. Wayne graduated from Northeast High School. Wayne proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Wayne worked as Civil Engineer for the federal government. He was a member of the Moose Lodge. Wayne's hobbies included bowling and dancing. Wayne also enjoyed taking trips to Disney and helping his neighbors. He moved to Pasadena with his wife in 1960.
Wayne was preceded in death by both of his parents. Wayne leaves behind his loving wife Donna Smith (nee Myers) and son John J. Taylor of Pasadena.
Wayne passed away peacefully in his home on November 30, 2017.
