John Walters

On November 29, 2009, John Charles Walters of Glen Burnie; Beloved father of Alicia L. Walters of Towson and Mark A. Walters of Westminster; Caring brother of Helen Maggetti and Dorothy Rutkowski and the late Edith Catania, Elsie Peacock and Howard Walters. John served his country as a member of the United States Army during WWII.  He later worked for the Maryland State Highway Administration as an electrician and retired after 20+ years of service.  John was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Old 10th Ward, the VFW and was an active member of the Pascal Senior Center where he enjoyed playing pool.  John was an avid trading card collector and enjoyed trying to get his cards autographed.  He was very computer savy, enjoyed constructing model airplanes and also completing jigsaw puzzles. John also enjoyed feeding the squirrels and birds.
