Jose Antonio Otero

Mr. Jose Antonio Otero was bornin Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on September 4, 1927 to the late Gregorio and Paulina Otero. Mr. Jose Otero proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. After leaving the Army, Jose worked as a postal carrier. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Moose, Elks, American Legion, and VFW Cooties. Jose enjoyed ballroom dancing, playing scrabble, playing cards and spending time with his family.

Mr. Jose Antonio Otero passed away peacefully in Howard County General Hospital on December 29, 2020. In addition to his parents, Jose was preceded in death by his first wife Irma Otero and his second wife Pauline Otero. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his children Jose A Otero, Jr. and wife Diana of South Carolina, Enrico Otero and wife Melody of Pasadena, Carlos Otero and wife Patty, Angela Mueller and husband David of Glen Burnie, brother Rafael Otero of Puerto Rico, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Jose will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
