Joseph F. Bury Jr.

On June 18, 2011, Joseph F. (Mick) Bury Jr., a 50 year resident of Millersville, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family.  Beloved husband of 62 years to Genevieve Bury (nee Garriott); Devoted father of Joann Dorsey, Linda Koltko, Theresa Wolfe, Melissa Barzell, Marvin Bury and Jerome Bury; Loving brother of Mary Bartley; Cherished grandfather of 20, great-grandfather of 35 and great-great-grandfather of 6. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph Sr. and Mary Rose Bury; his son Joseph Bury III; six siblings, a grandson Alan Terry and a great-great-grandson Houston R. Frey III.

Mick served his country as a member of the United States Marines serving in WWII and the Korean Conflict. He worked for 38 years as a welder for Baltimore Air Cool until he retired. He was a member of the Glen Burnie VFW Post.  Mick enjoyed watching old westerns, eating fried chicken and spending time at his home in Pennsylvania. Most especially, he loved spending time with all his grandchildren.
