Joseph William Grant

Suddenly on Saturday, April 20, 2024, Joseph William Grant, 78, Glen Burnie resident, died peacefully under the care of University of Maryland, in Baltimore, Maryland. Joseph was born on Sunday, August 5, 1945, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Michael and Regina (Brady) Grant. Joe graduated from high school in 1963. He joined the Navy on April 20, 1966, and married the love of his life, Nora, on July 4, 1969. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Joe took a job at the Coast Guard yard, where he retired from in 2007.

Joseph is preceded by his parents, Michael Grant and Regina (Brady) Grant. He is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Nora Kay (Pridgen) Grant of Glen Burnie; and his sisters, Gail T. Ansted and Michele O'Brien. Joe was a faithful man who served his Lord in all his days. May we continue to pray and look over Nora. He will be greatly missed.
