Joseph A. Lex of was born in Baltimore, MD October 27, 1938 to Joseph Lex and Mary (Thomas) Lex. He spent most of his life in the Pasadena area. A research chemist by trade, he held several patents on inventions he had made in his over 40 career with National Plastic which had become International Paper by his retirement. He enjoyed working with computers, listening to country music, Reading and following sports. In addition to his parents he is preceeded in death by his wife Linda Lee (Shade) Lex. Mr. Lex is survived by his son Joseph A. Lex, 3rd and daughter Stacy Lex, both of Pasadena. He passed away peacefully at the Lorien Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Columbia after being in declining health for several years.
