Joseph Mcpherson

On May 26, 2009, Joseph S. McPherson passed away at home from natural causes.  Born on October 27, 1932 in Roanoke, Virginia, Joe lived in Glen Burnie since 1974.  He worked for Chemical Lehman Tank Liners in Curtis Bay as a truck driver for 37 years until he retired.  He was a member of the VFW Post 40 and the Teamsters.  He served his country as a member of the United States Army.  Joseph loved music and especially playing the guitar and was huge Elvis fan.  He is survived by his children Clifford E. "Hammer" McPherson (four time World Kickboxing Champion) of the Eastern Shore, Jerry N. McPherson of Glen Burnie, Keith B. McPherson of Minnesota, Karen S. McPherson of Glen Burnie and Patty J. McPherson of Ocean City; his sister Georgia Estep of Edgewater; 15 grandchildren and 9 grandchildren.  He is predeceased by his son Steve J. McPherson and four sisters and one brother.
