Joyce A. Glossner , a lifetime resident of Severn was called home by God on January 17, 2014. Born February 24, 1933 in Baltimore, MD to Elbert H. and Margaret J. Clark (nee Boyer). She had worked as a receptionist for the Maritime Institute in Linthicum in earlier days. A lifetime member, she was very active in her church, Severn United Meth. Ch. as well as being a member of the MD Genealogical Society. In her spare time she enjoyed flowers, cooking and travel. Her family was the center of life and she enjoyed her yearly vacations in Ocean City with them. She is survived by her husband of 60 years John L. Glossner, Jr. of Severn, Sons Duane C. Glossner of Linthicum, Jon S. Glossner of Pasadena and daughter Cheryl L. Burgoon of Linthicum. Additionally she is survived by sisters Nancy Adler of Chevy Chase and Barbara Schenck of Clinton, AK, grandchildren John M. Burgoon, V, Shannon L. Mize, Jon S. Glossner, Jr. and Jeffrey S. Glossner and well as great-grandchildren Daniel Miller, Cameron, Caleb and Jordyn Mize.
