Joyce A. Goetz

Born Joyce A. Stivers on October 24, 1938 in Maryland to the late William T. Stivers and Henrietta McCracken Stivers and she was a lifetime resident of Anne Arundel County. During her working life she served in patient care at Baltimore Washington Medical Center and deeply enjoyed her work. She was a member of the Odenton Chapter of Eastern Star,  Nichols Bethel United Methodist Church and also attended Lighthouse Baptist Church. Joyce enjoyed doing various crafts, watching cooking shows and religious programming. Her faith was the center of her life. She is preceded by her husband Frederick Goetz, daughter Christine M. Lynn and several brothers and sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Cindy M. Leake of Pasadena, son Fred C. Goetz, Jr. of North Carolina, brothers Richard Stivers of Annapolis, Ernest and William F. Stivers, Jr. of Odenton and sisters Shirley Benson of Severn and Sue Finley, as well as many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.  She passed away at home following a brief illness and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
