Joyce Marilyn Puckett

On January 3, 2024, Joyce Marilyn Puckett (Burnham), 85, Glen Burnie resident since 1959, died peacefully in her home.  She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 13, 1938, to Walter and Edith (Dodson) Burnham, Sr.  Joyce graduated from High School in 1956 and was a bookkeeper for Holiday Inn. She loved to decorate, care for her home, read and travel.  She will be missed.
Joyce is preceded by her parents, Walter and Edith (Dodson) Burnham, Sr.; her husband, Edwin Lawrence Puckett and her brother, Walter Burnham.  She is survived by her children, Edwin Lawrence Puckett, Jr. (Lori) of Glen Burnie and Evelyn Grace VanVranken (Kenny) of Queenstown; sister, Carol Kemp of Easter Shore; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Family and Friends may visit at the KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, January 25, 3:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm.  Funeral Service, Friday, January 26, 12:00pm at the funeral home.  Interment Crownsville Maryland Veterans Cemetery.
