She was born Judith Ann “Judy” Thomas on October 2, 1956 in Baltimore, MD to the late Charles Milton Thomas and Alice Frances Thomas (née Greise) and aside from a short period living in NC as a child, she lived in Northern Anne Arundel County all of her life. During her working life Judy worked in accounting and treasury for several firms. She enjoyed reading about historical events and crime stories, beach trips, and cruising the world. The time she treasured most was that spent with family, especially her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her brother Edward Thomas. Left to cherish her memory are her son Joseph Hopkin Bisesi Jr (Sarah) of Gainesville, FL, daughter Melanie Renee Campbell (Steven) of Glen Burnie, her life partner Jeffrey Bruce of Linthicum, his children Robert Bruce and Kelly Oles, brothers Albert Anderson of Linthicum, Stephen Thomas of Glen Burnie, Richard Anderson of Linthicum, and Charles Thomas of Seattle, WA, sisters Charlene Scruggs of Ocean City, MD and Terri Brooks of Linthicum, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Judy is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Jamison and Riley Campbell, Abigail and Lily Bisesi, and Erik Rasmussen, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Judy passed away suddenly in her home on June 3rd, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of her life has been planned on June 14th from 12-3 PM at the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department Hall, 5200 Southwestern Blvd, Halethorpe, MD 21227.
