June Clara Dennis

She was born June Clara Simmont on June 11, 1934 in Baltimore, MD to the late Franklin Benjamin and Bessie Mae Loney Simmont and was a longtime resident of Glen Burnie. Mrs. Dennis was a daycare operator in her home for 47 years and maintained relationships with the children even into adulthood.  She enjoyed doing word puzzles, coloring books, she was an excellent cook and she loved listening to music.  In addition to her parents, June is preceded by her husband Hensel Dennis, Jr., her son Brian F. Dennis, brother Donald Simmont and sister Bessie Mae Klingmeyer. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Hensel Dennis, 3rd of Eden, MD and Michael J. Dennis of Brooklyn Park, daughters Sharon J. Haddaway of Baltimore and Cathy D. Lane of Brooklyn Park and brother Ronald F. Simmont, Sr. of Ferndale.  She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  She passed away peacefully at  Tidalhealth Peninsula Regional Hospital in Salisbury. Her family will celebrate her life privately.
