June G. Edwards

Born June Grimes in Baltimore, MD on June 21, 1935 to the late William and Nellie Grimes (nee Guyer). She lived most of her life in Glen Burnie with brief stints in Germany and in West Virginia. She was a homemaker who did extensive volunteer work with NCEON and various other charities. She served on the resident's council at her senior apartment complex and was the past treasurer. She enjoyed watching MPT and was an avid reader, but her family was the center of her life. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Edwards is preceded in death by her husband Bernard William Edwards and her daughter Laura M. Edwards. She is survived by her son William C. "Bill" Edward of Millersville, her daughter Linda C. Roark of Denton, her sister Joan Kraft of Hampstead as well as six grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren with two on the way in December. She passed away in her home on Oct. 9 after dealing with declining health for the last several years. June will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
