Karen Lee Bradway

Karen Lee Bradway was born March 18, 1953 in Baltimore, MD to the late John Wood and Janet Wood Kroschinsky. She was a lifelong resident of Anne Arundel County. She moved to Glen burnie in 1956 where she lived until 1983 when she relocated to Linthicum and lived the rest of her life.

Mrs. Bradway was a graduate of Andover High School, class of 1971. She then went on to receive her LPN certification . She graduated from Anne Arundel Community College in 1975 with her RN and then received her Bachelors of Nursing from the University of Maryland in 1980.  Following college Mrs. Bradway went on to be a career nurse during which she worked at Harbor Hospital, Prince George’s General, and St. Agnes where she worked in specialty coronary care and retired with the title of Nursing Supervisor. She was very career driven and hard working.

In addition to her successful nursing career, Mrs. Bradway was also a woman of GOD who loved the Lord and was very involved with her church, Grace of God Fellowship. She frequently participated in and led church activities such as the children’s ministry and directing church plays. In her free time Mrs. Bradway especially loved spending time with her family, and with her friends. She was someone who made friendships everywhere she went, between her schooling, her work, and church she created countless bonds that she maintained for a lifetime.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father William Kroschinsky. Left to cherish her memory is her husband William Bradway, her children Kristin Bradway, Matthew Bradway and his wife Bonita, siblings Donna Merson and her husband Michael, Angie Dunkerly and her husband John, she is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bradway passed away December 31, 2019 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Multipler Sclerosis Society at https://www.nationalmssociety.org/ or Grace of God Fellowship.
