Kathy M. Hohrein

Kathy M. Hohrein, 60, resident of Maryland for over 55 years, died after a lengthily illness on May 31, 2015. She was born October 25, 1954 to the late Carl and the late Aileen (Coleman) Garlic in Iaeger, West Virginia. Kathy was a medical assistant for Bon Secours Hospital. She absolutely loved cats and always had a cat to call her own. At one time she had over 40 cats and her special cat "Dusty" was with her for 20 years. She is preceded by her parents and siblings. She is survived by her husband, who she met when she was sixteen years old, Michael J. Hohrein, Sr.; stepson; Michael Hohrein, Jr.; daughters, Melissa Koontz, Marsha Scamordella, Michelle Bell; step grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 2. Friends and family may call to the family owned and operated KIRKLEY-RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME, PA. on Friday, 3-5 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service also on Friday at 7:30 pm. Interment Private Cremation.
