Kenneth L. Miller

On March 6, 2011, Kenneth Lee Miller of Glen Burnie lost his courageous battle with cancer. He was 64.  Ken is survived by his wife, children and many other loving family members and dear friends.  He served his country with a career in the United States Navy. He entered in the Navy in 1965 and had been stationed in various places such as the Philippines, Key West, San Diego and Maryland.  Kenneth was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Navy and Marine Corps Overseas Service Ribbon and Vietnam Service Medal with Bronze Star. He served as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor at the Counseling and Assistance Center. Ken also provided support to the Family Advocacy Program in Subic Bay by serving as a volunteer crisis counselor, logging over 920 hours. His exemplary contributions clearly revealed his dedication and devotion to duty to improve the quality of family life to military service members and their family.  Ken also loved to play golf.  He will be sorely missed by those who loved him dearly.
