L. Steve Bevil

L. Steven "Steve" Bevil was born April 24, 1948 in Baltimore to the late Lester and Mary Bevil. Mr. Bevil proudly served in the United State Marine Corps, was a longtime resident of Glen Burnie, and spent his career working for the Federal Government as a Customs Inspector.  He graduated from the University of Maryland with his Bachelors degree and went on to receive his Masters degree from Johns Hopkins University. Mr. Bevil belonged to the American Legion and the University of Maryland Terrapin Club. In his free time he enjoyed reading history books, genealogy, and cheering on his favorite teams the Ravens, the Orioles, and the Terps.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 43 years Sherry Bevil, his children Matthew Bevil and his wife Kristin, Nathan Bevil, siblings Tim Bevil, Christine Bevil, grandchildren Levi Bevil, and Caleb Bevil.

Mr. Bevil passed away on September 16, 2019 at his home. he will be missed by all who knew him.
