Lawrence W. Dill Jr.

On January 5, 2012, Lawrence (Larry) William Dill Jr. of Linthicum passed away at BWMC at the age of 81. Beloved husband of 25 years to Velma G. Dill; Devoted father of Lawrence L. Dill of Abingdon; Loving step-father of Joseph A. Dunn of Lancaster (PA), Nancy L. Shipley of Glen Burnie, John R. Dunn Jr. of Glen Burnie and Jewel L. Ashworth of Glen Burnie; Caring brother of Jacqueline Creamer of Pasadena; Cherished grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of 6. He was predeceased by his parents Lawrence Sr. and Louise Cain (nee Middlekaff), his mother-in-law Viola Comegys, step-son E. Robert Dunn, his grandson Christopher R. Dunn, his great-grandson Preston Stone, and his sister Anna Weiford . Larry is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and dear friends. Larry proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. After retirement, he worked as a security guard for the Department of Motor Vehicles and later for the Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Larry enjoyed trains and had a wonderful train garden. He also collected wildlife sculptures and enjoyed camping and watching the Orioles and the Ravens. Most especially, Larry enjoyed spending time with his family.
