Lawrence Weston Smith

Lawrence Weston Smith, 92, died on Sunday, March 3, 2024, under Accent Hospice Care. Lawrence was born in Baltimore, Maryland on Tuesday, April 28, 1931, to Clarence and Genevieve T. (Carroll) Smith. Lawrence was a steel worker for the Union for several years. He worked all day and then came straight home to his family. He was a simple man, that lived a simple life and loved his family.

Lawrence is preceded by his wife, Mary Alice (Lambert) Smith; his parents, Clarence Smith and Genevieve T. (Carroll) Smith; his daughter, Patricia Smith; and his siblings, Carroll W. Smith, Louis Smith and Genevieve Baughan. He is survived by his stepdaughter, Sharon Willis of Glen Burnie; several loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Family and friends may visit at the KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service Thursday, 10am at the funeral home. Interment at Crownsville Maryland Veterans Cemetery.
