Mr Lee R. Bruce, Sr. was born in Baltimore, MD on January 12, 1924 to the late Elmer and Laura Bruce. Mr. Lee was a lifelong resident of Pasadena, MD. He served in the Army in the Pacific during World War II. Mr. Bruce worked as a supervisor for a chemical company. Lee was a member of the American Legion Post #40. In his free time Mr. Lee enjoyed crabbing, cooking, and spending time in his yard. He also built many homes, including his own. He designed and built his own crab traps and had them patented.
Mr. Lee R. Bruce, Sr. passed away on November 15, 2018 at home with his family by his side. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bruce is predeceased by his son, Mr. Lee R. Bruce, Jr. and several brothers and sisters. Mr. Bruce leaves behind his loving wife, Mrs. Gerry Bruce (nee Hopf) of Pasadena, his son Mr. Eddie Abrams of AZ, his daughters Mrs. Pat Smith of DE, Mrs. Mary McKinnon of Pasadena, and Mrs. Pamela Mohr of Glen Burnie and 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
