Levin R. Parker, Jr. born in Glen Burnie on Sept. 5, 1928 to Levin R. Parker, Sr. and his wife Ida Parker (nee Donaldson). Mr. Parker was the Director of Customer Service for the Glen Burnie Post Office from 1946-1976. Following his retirement from the Postal Services he worked in facilities maintenance for the Glen Burnie State Police Barracks from 1980-1994. He loved farming and sold produce in front of his family's Crain Highway farm for many years. A member of Glen Burnie United Meth. Church, he also attended Heritage Community Church. Levin was also a member of the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge, Glen Burnie Elks, a 63 year Member of Glen Burnie Lodge #213 A.F. & A.M of the Masons, a 60 year member of the Annapolis Tall Cedars #126, Scottish Rite, Police Community Relations Committee, Glen Burnie Improvement Association, NARFE, AARP and the Full Gospel Businessmen's Association. In addition to farming he enjoyed bowling, riding horses, and woodworking. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son Levin R. "Butch" Parker, 3rd. He is survived by his wife Wilma J. Parker (nee Stevenson) of Chesapeake, VA, his daughter Amber D. Miller of Virginia Beach, VA, his brother Donaldson L. Parker of Millersville and grandchildren Ethan, Abigail and Eden Miller.
