She was born Linda Marie Burkhead in Baltimore, MD to the late James Willis Burkhead and Bertha Spalt Haviland. She was a resident of northern Anne Arundel County for 55 years. She was a homemaker who said her favorite job was as a mother. She was always available to help others in need; as her family put it “she would give you the shirt off her back”. She enjoyed watching TV and was a fan of action movies. She was an animal lover who had cared for many dogs over the years. 

In addition to her parents she is preceded by her stepfather Robert Haviland, and her beloved husband Frank W. Stewart to whom she was married for 50 years. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Edward Robert Stewart of Pennsylvania, Michael Raymond Steward of Ferndale and Frank Joseph Stewart and daughter in law Christine Marie Stewart of Ferndale, her sister Karen Fohner of Delaware. Loving grandmother of Brooks Joseph Stewart and 8 other cherished grandchildren.
