Lois F. Childress

August 12, 1941 — September 5, 2017

Born Lois F. Crew in Roxboro, NC on August 12, 1941 to the late Leon Willis Crews and Nannie Crews (nee Trammell) She was a resident of the Brooklyn Park area for 57 Years. During most of her working life she was a loan processor for a bank. She was an active member of Glen Burnie Baptist Church and served on their "welcoming team". Lois enjoyed gardening, reading and studying the bible.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Jack L. Childress, who died is 2013 as well as her brothers Marshall and Homer Crews and sister Barbara Davis.  She is survived by her son Kevin M. Childress of Brooklyn Park, sisters Bonnie Ferraro and her husband John of Midlothian, VA and Belinda English and her husband Johnny of Chesterfield, VA as well as her brother in law Herman Davis.  Lois passed away peacefully at University of MD Medical Center following a brief illness.
