Loretta Ann Bennett

Loretta Ann Bennett was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia on April 4, 1938, to the late George W. and the late Grace Elizabeth (Ward) Weekley, Jr. Loretta moved to Maryland in the late 1940's. She was very active in her church, Heritage Church of God; where she coordinated several activities for the members, especially the bus trips. Loretta loved sewing, crafts, crossword puzzles and was an avid reader.

Loretta is preceded by her parents; her husband, Donald Robert Bennett, her two daughters; Loretta Ann Lacher and Michele Nicole Croghan and her sister; Stephanie Oakley. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, John Barbour (Jerri) of Pasadena; brother, Steven Weekley (Carol) of Baltimore; niece, Barbara Oakley Phelps and grandchildren, Danielle Helms, Christopher Barbour and Kelly Chitikireddy.

Family and friends may call at the KIRKLEY-RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Funeral service, Thursday, January 28, 2021, 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
