Born Loretta Ann Janik in New Jersey to the late Joseph and Margaret Malle Janik on June 3, 1948 and a resident of Glen Burnie for the past 22 years. Mrs. Lohrmann was a homemaker and she did factory work earlier in life. Her family described her as a "facebook socialite" who enjoyed reading, trips to the outer banks, collecting salt and pepper shakers; at one time she had over 1000; and lighthouses. But the center of her life was her family and she treasured time spent with them. Left to treasure her memory are her husband of 51 years Frederick L. Lohrmann, Sr. son Frederick L. Lohrmann, Jr. of Glen Burnie, daughters Barbara A. Beyer of Dundalk and Dawn M. Herrera of Winter Haven, FL, brother Harry W. Janik of Indiana. She is also survived by 6 cherished grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial donations to The Komen Foundation at www.ww5.komen.org or the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org will be appreciated by the family.
