Lorraine Ann Yetter was born on Friday, September 13, 1957 in Odenton, Maryland to Henry Samuel and Doris (Bell) Grimes, Jr. Lorraine was raised catholic and would often go to services at Holy Trinity with her sister Jane, the other food critic. Lorri and Jane were food snobs and would not hesitate to let you know how they felt about your meal you prepared. Preparing food with the family was something they did; she was a good cook. They also vacationed together in the OBX, flying her kite while there. Lorri was a child care teacher for several years and had great patience and love for the children. She worked for Gambrills Day Nursery and Grannie Annies Child Care Center in Riviera Beach for several years. She loved cats, animals, especially Elephants and Ed's Elephant Emporium. She was a true Orioles fan through and through and 10 pin bowled in her earlier years. Her sisters and her would often play the card game Canasta but she was a fanatic for Scrabble. She was loved and will be greatly missed by many.
Lorri is preceded by her parents, Henry Samuel Grimes, Jr. and Doris (Bell) Grimes. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Terry Yetter of Glen Burnie; her siblings, Jane Ruth Grimes of Odenton, Robert Henry Grimes of Odenton, Scott Edward Grimes of Baltimore, Elizabeth Mary Adnujar (Eddie) of Severn, and the twin siblings, Mark Wayne Grimes of Odenton and Diana Marie Hood (Charles) of Odenton.
