Louis John Althoff

Louis J. Althoff passed away on January 11, 2009, after a lengthy battle with cancer.  Born in Baltimore on March 20, 1950, to Grace Veach and the late Louis Francis Althoff.  Lou was a machine operator for 30 years at Ketema Inc. and, until his illness, he worked at Neschn Corporation.  He was a devoted and loving husband and father. Lou was an avid sports fan and prior to his illness he enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, boating and swimming.  Most of all, he loved being with his family and dog "Brandy".  The family wishes to thank the following employers for their support and compassion during the last four years: Neschen Corporation and Hi Tech Color Inc.  Also, the family wishes to thank Dr. Young Joo Lee, Dr. Jack Hong and the medical staff for their help and guidance.  Contributions in Lou's name may be made to the Society For The Prevention of Cruelty To Animals of Anne Arundel County, PO Box 3471, Annapolis, MD 21403.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Dianne, son Jason, mother Grace Veach, step-father Albert Veach, brother Joseph and his sister Audrey Boyer.  He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
