Louis Laursen

Louis Laursen, a resident of Glen Burnie, passed away on October 19, 2015. "Papa Lou" enjoyed watching PBS with Science and History Shows being his favorite. He served his country with the Air Force from 1963-1968 and worked as an Engineer for NSA. After years of waiting for that special someone he married the late Juanita E. (Thompson) Laursen in 1980. Mr. Laursen leaves behind a step-son, Dale Crowl of Waldorf; step-daughter, Diane Taylor of North Carolina; brother, John Laursen; sisters, Cecilia Scerbo, Gail Howard; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren as well as many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Louis and Cecilia (Morgan) Laursen; brothers, William Laursen, Carl Laursen and sister, Katherine Laursen. A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2015 1:00 pm at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
