Louis J. Winkler Sr.

On December 7, 2010, Louis J. Winkler Sr. passed away at the age of 84. Born in Maryland, Lou was a resident of Glen Burnie for 43 years. Beloved husband of 44 years to Ellen M. Winkler; Devoted father of Lois Tasker, Ellen M. Rossbach, Janice L. Duncan, Lauren E. Turner and Louis Sr.; Loving brother of Paul Winkler, Dorothy White and Lillian Walters; Cherished grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 11. He was predeceased by 2 brothers and 1 sister. Louis worked his entire life as a mechanic and machinist. He served his country as a member of the US Navy and served during WWII. He was a member of the VFW in Glen Burnie. Lou enjoyed hunting, fishing and refinishing furniture.
