Lynn Leroy
Wolf
July 12, 1943 – April 30, 2026
Lynn Leroy Wolf, a lifelong resident of Severn, will be remembered fondly after his passing on April 30, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on July 12, 1943, to Leroy and Edith (Henion) Wolf, Lynn lived a life full of stories, laughter, and a passion for the great outdoors.
For over 40 years, Lynn dedicated himself to his work as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He was a reliable hand on any job site, having worked with various contracting companies before retiring from Reliable Contractors. He took great pride in providing for his family and relished the satisfaction of a hard day’s work.
When he wasn’t operating heavy machinery, you could find Lynn outside - fishing poles or hunting gear in hand - spending quality time with his sons, Lenny and Clayton. A true storyteller at heart, he had a knack for spinning tales that could draw you in for hours. His love for NASCAR and football added to his colorful personality, making every gathering a bit more lively.
Lynn will be deeply missed by his wife of 56 years, Carolyn C. (Green) Wolf, as well as his sons, Lenny L. Wolf (Michelle) and Clayton C. Wolf (Jennifer Paez). He is also survived by his beloved sisters, Dottie Taylor and Diana Hicks, and has left behind a legacy of love as a grandfather of six grandchildren, Michael McCaskey, Kileigh Wolf, Lenny Wolf Jr, Emma (Stair)Wolf, Elizabeth Rye, Tyler Rye, and a great-grandfather to one, Levi Wright.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Lynn’s life at KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME. Visits will take place on Wednesday from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM, with a funeral service scheduled for 11 AM on Thursday. Lynn will rest peacefully at Meadowridge Memorial Park, where we will lay him to rest surrounded by fond memories and love.
As we come together to honor Lynn, let’s remember the joyful moments, the hearty laughs, and the stories that made his life so rich.
Lynn was preceded by his parents, Leroy and Edith (Henion) Wolf; his daughter, Brenda Wolf; his brothers, William & Edward Stokem and his sister, Arlene Bindermeyer.
