Malliga Lazarus

She was born Malliga Rajamonickam on September 12, 1950 in India and she has lived in the United States since 1980. For the past 10 years she lived in Glen Burnie after living for many years in Crownsville. During her working life Malliga was a registered nurse at Provident Hospital, Fairfield Nursing Home as well as Crownsville State Hospital. Mrs. Lazarus was an active member of Harundale Presbyterian Church until her health kept her from attending. She enjoyed watching wrestling and game shows, visiting with family either in person or on the phone, cooking and singing.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband Arthur Lazarus. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Abigail Penny (Chris) , son Shadrach Lazarus, both of Linthicum, grandchildren John and Chad Penny and her four sisters who live in India. She passed away peacefully at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Bridgepark and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Family and friends may visit at the KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Monday, October 7, 2024, 2pm - 4pm and 6pm-8pm. Service will be held at Harundale Presbyterian Church, Tuesday, October 8, 2024, 2:00pm.. Interment private.
